The Mystical Journey is VirtuaSoft's action/RPG. It was originally written in pure QB, but Dash has allowed it to have layered pixel*tile scrolling. The next release of TMJ will be programmed in Visual Basic for Windows.     The game begins in the town of Roama when the nearby cave is invaded by an unknown threat. A man ventures into the cave where he is injured and needs the rare elixir to save him. After obtaining an elixir to save him, the four elemental sceptors must be retrieved to defeat the being in the cave, revealing the entire journey that must take place to save the world from destruction.     The journey will be joined by roughtly a dozen other characters and four animal allies -- all of which help overcome tasks otherwise uncomquerable. The journey covers three large continents, a sub continent, several islands, and the realm of the gods. There will be around 60 levels and 100s of weapons and items in the game that can be encountered before arriving at the Vigrid for the final Ragnarok battle.     Do you have what it takes to win, or is the world doomed to an apocalypse?
